Meet Our Counselors
Meet the amazing and dedicated College Park Elementary School wellness team! Students can reach out to their counselors for questions, guidance, and support.
School psychologists may provide support and consultation to teachers and parents of students experiencing learning and/or behavior problems. Students with an Individual Education Program who exhibit the need for a higher level of care may be recommended to receive Educationally-Related Mental Health Services. Please contact the SMFC Student Services Department for additional information or support at (650) 312-7341.
Erika Zheng |
Erika Zheng is the school counselor at College Park. As a school counselor, she meets with students individually, in small groups or conducts check ins. She also teaches classroom lessons on social emotional learning (SEL) which helps students understand their own emotions and empower them to be in control of themselves. She studied Psychology and Education at University of California, Riverside and earned her Masters of Arts in School Counseling at the University of San Diego. Before becoming a school counselor, she was an elementary school teacher for 5 years. In her free time, she enjoys hanging out with friends, playing tennis, hiking and reading. Check-ins are available to all. Check-ins are not therapy services; they are brief and solution focused. Students, teachers, or parents can request a check in with Ms. Zheng if they are in need of support; however, they are encouraged to speak to any adult on campus as all staff are helpers! |
